28 May 19 – Mick Hanbury Demo, Competition Table Results
MICK HANBURY DEMO
Our Club night demo by Mick Hanbury on the 28th May, brought us a new idea for turning and showed the processes on how to make it successful. Turning woodturning into an art form with a few simple, but necessary, stages; you can see from the pictures the hollow form creations with coloured interiors that he then proceeded to recreate for us.
A really well attended evening from old and new members, who all enjoyed the demo. There were lots of goodies for sale from the shop and usual tea and biscuits and chatter. A wide range of wood for sale from Martin Pidgen and pen kits etc from Barry Teague. A big thanks to all for making it a good evening, and to Mick for sharing his enthusiasm with the Club.
