2018 Update – Old Bolingbroke Wood Carving Group

We have been informed of a new Wood Carving Group that has recently opened its doors for the first time on the 8 Nov 17, that you may be interested in.

They meet at Ramsden Village Hall, West Keal Rd, Old Bolingbroke, PE24 4EY on the 2nd and 4th Wed of each month (not 4th Wed in Dec) between 10am and 4pm.

New for 2018, following several requests for an evening sessions, they are now starting an evening carving group starting from Monday 5th February 7pm – 9:30pm and then on the 1st Monday and the 3rd Monday of each month.  Depending on the interest, this may become a weekly evening group.  The cost of the evening sessions is still to be finalised, but likely to around £4 each. 

Whether you are an experienced carver or have always wanted to try your hand at wood carving.  You need no previous experience and you do not need to be good at art.

The Group provides help and encouragement to those wishing to learn and they hope that experienced carvers will be willing to share their knowledge with others.

They are all volunteers and enthusiastic carvers wanting to share a day with like minded people.  They share skills, swap ideas and learn new skills in a safe and friendly atmosphere.
