Demo by Stuart Lowe and Norman Sanders and Competition Results

Club Night 28th November, really was a club night as two of our experienced turners got up on stage to demonstrate some of their signature pieces.  Norman with a really ambitious hollow form with integral bowl, with stand and finial and Stuart his famous smoking snowman (seasonal speciality).

A fantastic selection of work on the table again this month, the last night of this year’s competition.  The winners from the competition table tonight were:

Novice Class – 1st Chas Dewar and in joint 2nd were Shaun Pearson and Andy Peacock

Club Class – 1st Ian Flack

Open Class – 1st Chris Fisher, 2nd John Liles and 3rd Tony Cooke
