Club night with Ronald Kanne (pronounced canna, I think) from Holland was a success; both entertaining and informative as Ronald demonstrated something very different to our usual nights. Whereas most turners try to keep timber from warping he turned a hollow form with the intention that it should distort to add interest to the design. As he said he “tries to turn hollow boring into interesting”.

A good show on the competition table with lots of varied styles and designs, well done to all entries, keep them coming in.
