Update on May Club night, a really good night with lots of new and old members, even some younger people joined in to see a demonstration by Andy Coates from Beccles Suffolk, he made a lidded box with inset top, colouring with Pebeo Prisme fantasy which creates random patterns when cured; and showed the technique for turning a natural edge bowl to maintain the wall thickness; explaining the theories as well as practical advice and tool control.

Club and Open competition tables had reasonable number of entries with a great variety of items; and a special thanks to the one person who made up the Novice class.

Plenty of chat and laughter during the evening. Looking forward, we have Hands on night on 13th June and our next club demo with Ronald Karn on 27th June. More info later about that.
